What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is $10,000. This fee is paid in a lump sum to Body Brain Center before attending training. The FDD also states that the entire training fee is refundable if the franchisee notifies Body Brain Center that they wish to cancel the franchise before training begins.
In addition to the initial training fee, franchisees must also cover their expenses for the Self-Enrichment Workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training. The Self-Enrichment Workshop ranges from $150 to $400, Qualified Instructor Training ranges from $2,800 to $3,900, and Leadership Training ranges from $7,500 to $9,400. These fees are paid in a lump sum to BBYHC before attending the workshop or training. BBYHC will refund these training fees if the franchisee notifies them that they will not attend before training begins. However, if this notice is provided within 21 days of training, BBYHC may retain an administrative fee of up to $50.
Furthermore, franchisees are responsible for all travel, food, and lodging costs associated with attending the franchise training program, the Self-Enrichment Workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training. These training expenses are estimated to range from $2,300 to $5,000 and are paid to airlines, restaurants, and lodging facilities before and during training. The FDD assumes that only one person will attend the pre-opening initial training program, although owners and managers are required to successfully complete the initial training program and pay the training fee.
