What happens if I fail to successfully complete the Body Brain Center training program?

If either (i) you fail to sign the Franchise Agreement on or prior to the expiration of the Franchise Evaluation Period or (ii) you fail to successfully complete the training program, we shall have no obligation to offer you a franchise and we may keep the training fee in consideration of the training we provided to you.
Further, if you do not sign the Franchise Agreement or you fail to successfully complete the training program, you understand that you must still comply with all of the terms of this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, failing to successfully complete the training program has specific consequences. If you do not successfully complete the training, Body Brain Center is not obligated to offer you a franchise. Additionally, Body Brain Center may retain the $10,000 training fee as compensation for the training provided. This fee is generally non-refundable, except if you notify Body Brain Center that you will not attend the training program before it begins.
Even if you fail to complete the training program or do not sign a Franchise Agreement, you are still required to comply with the terms of the agreement related to protecting Body Brain Center's intellectual property. This includes maintaining the confidentiality of the 'Know-how' disclosed during the training program and refraining from using it in any unauthorized manner. You also agree not to compete with Body Brain Center or its franchisees for a period of two years after completing the training program within a 15-mile radius of any Body & Brain Center or Dahn Yoga Center.
Body Brain Center may offer refresher or additional training courses periodically, but attendance is optional. However, before opening your business, each owner must complete the Self-Enrichment workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training provided by Body & Brain Yoga and Health Centers, Inc. If you need to retake training after failing the initial attempt, Body Brain Center may charge a $400 retraining fee. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these financial implications and obligations before signing any agreements or paying any fees.
