What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, other franchisees are allowed to advertise within your protected territory. However, their advertising must be primarily directed towards customers within their own territory. Similarly, you are also permitted to advertise within the territories of other Body Brain Center franchisees, as long as your advertising is primarily aimed at customers within your territory.

This reciprocal arrangement means that while you have a protected territory, it is not exclusive in terms of advertising. You should anticipate that potential customers within your territory may be exposed to advertising from other Body Brain Center locations. This could lead to increased competition for customers within your area, as other franchisees attempt to attract business even from outside their primary territory.

As a Body Brain Center franchisee, it is important to develop a strong marketing strategy to retain and attract customers within your territory, even with the presence of advertising from other franchisees. Understanding the demographics and needs of your local market will be crucial to effectively target your advertising efforts and maintain a competitive edge. This also means that you are able to advertise in other franchisee territories as long as the advertising is directed at your territory.
