What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a prospective franchisee can receive a refund of their training fee if they notify Body Brain Center that they will not attend the initial training program before it begins. The initial training fee is $10,000. However, the training fee is non-refundable under any other circumstances.
This means that if a franchisee decides not to attend the training program before it starts, Body Brain Center will refund the $10,000 training fee. This provides some flexibility for the franchisee if their plans change before the training begins. However, once the training program commences, the fee becomes non-refundable, regardless of whether the franchisee completes the training or not.
It is important for prospective Body Brain Center franchisees to carefully consider their commitment to the franchise before paying the training fee and scheduling their attendance. Franchisees should communicate promptly with Body Brain Center if they need to cancel their participation in the initial training program to ensure they receive the refund. This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it allows the franchisor to recoup costs associated with preparing for a franchisee's training while providing some recourse if the franchisee changes their mind early in the process.
