What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their centers in a way that promotes the goodwill of the Body Brain Center brand. Specifically, franchisees must comply with all standards and terms outlined in the Franchise Agreement and the operations manual.
The operations manual contains mandatory and suggested specifications, operating procedures, and quality standards for products, services, and procedures that Body & Brain prescribes. It also includes mandatory reporting and insurance requirements, specifications for the center, and lists of items franchisees must purchase, including designated or approved suppliers.
Body Brain Center can modify the manual at any time, with changes becoming binding 30 days after notice is sent to the franchisee. All mandatory provisions in the manual, whether present or future, are binding. This suggests that while the FDD does not explicitly state that franchisees must promote to active customers, it does state that Body & Brain can implement mandatory procedures in the future through the manual.
