What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with any refund policy that Body Brain Center specifies. This includes situations where a member transfers their membership or customer agreement. This requirement ensures consistency across all franchise locations and protects the brand's reputation.
This policy means that a Body Brain Center franchisee does not have the autonomy to set their own refund policies. Instead, they must adhere to the guidelines established by the franchisor. This could impact the franchisee's ability to resolve customer disputes independently, as they are bound by the franchisor's rules.
Furthermore, Body Brain Center retains the right to modify these refund policies from time to time. Franchisees are obligated to stay informed about any changes and implement them accordingly. Failure to comply with the specified refund policies can result in penalties, as non-compliance with operating standards may lead to fines of up to $500 per occurrence, with a maximum of $2,500 for the same violation.
