What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are permitted to advertise within the territories of other Body Brain Center franchisees. However, any advertising you conduct in another franchisee's territory must be primarily directed towards customers within your own territory. This means that while you can market your Body & Brain Center in areas where other franchisees operate, the main focus of your advertising efforts should be on attracting customers from your designated area.

This policy allows for some flexibility in marketing and potentially reaching a broader audience, but it also ensures that franchisees primarily focus on developing their own local customer base. It prevents franchisees from directly competing for the same customers by saturating another franchisee's territory with advertising that targets their specific customer base. This is a common practice in franchising to balance the need for individual franchisee growth with the overall stability of the franchise system.

It's important to note that while you can advertise in other territories, you cannot solicit or sell products or services to any person who is a current member of or has a customer agreement with another franchisee or company-owned Body & Brain business without the consent of the owner(s) of that business. This restriction is in place to protect existing customer relationships and prevent franchisees from poaching customers from each other. As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to clarify with Body Brain Center what specific advertising methods are considered acceptable and how they monitor compliance with these territorial advertising guidelines.
