Can Body Brain Center establish one or more purchasing cooperatives in the future?

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does not currently have any purchasing cooperatives in place. However, Body Brain Center reserves the right to establish one or more purchasing cooperatives in the future.

If Body Brain Center establishes relationships with suppliers, franchisees may be able to purchase certain items at discounted prices. These discounted prices would reflect any negotiated savings, less any rebates or consideration paid to Body Brain Center. Alternatively, Body Brain Center may purchase items in bulk and resell them to franchisees at cost plus a reasonable markup. The FDD states that the total cost to franchisees purchasing items through Body Brain Center will not exceed the cost of purchasing directly from the supplier without the benefit of the group purchasing power.

While Body Brain Center is not currently an approved or designated supplier for any source-restricted items, it reserves the right to become one in the future, which could generate revenue for the company. Any rebates or payments received from vendors based on franchisee purchases will be deposited into the advertising fund. As of the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, Body Brain Center did not receive any revenues from franchisee purchases from approved or designated suppliers.
