You must open your Center to the public within two (2) years after the Effective Date.
We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, grant you an opening date extension period; provided however, that (i) you must request an extension at least 30 days before the expiration of the initial two-year opening period; and (ii) the extension period or periods shall under no circumstances exceed an additional two (2) year period.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must request an opening date extension at least 30 days before the initial two-year opening period expires. The initial franchise agreement requires the franchisee to open their center to the public within two years of the effective date of the agreement.
Body Brain Center may grant an extension at its discretion, but the extension cannot exceed an additional two years. This means that the franchisee has a maximum of four years from the effective date to open their Body & Brain Center.
It is important for prospective Body Brain Center franchisees to be aware of this deadline and to plan accordingly. Failure to request an extension in a timely manner could result in the franchisee being in breach of the franchise agreement.
