What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can receive a full refund of the initial training fee if they notify Body Brain Center of their intent to cancel the franchise before training begins. This applies to the initial training fee of $10,000, as well as fees for the Self-Enrichment Workshop (ranging from $150 to $400), Qualified Instructor Training (ranging from $2,800 to $3,900), and Leadership Training (ranging from $7,500 to $9,400). These fees are paid to Body Brain Center or BBYHC before attending the respective training.

However, if the franchisee provides notice within 21 days of the training start date, Body Brain Center may retain an administrative fee of up to $50. This means that while a full refund is possible with sufficient notice, franchisees should be aware of the potential for a small administrative charge if they cancel closer to the training date. The FDD also mentions that the purchase price for the initial supply of inventory is refundable under the circumstances described in Item 5.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these refund conditions and ensure they provide timely notification if they decide to cancel their franchise or any of the training programs to avoid any potential administrative fees. Understanding these policies is crucial for managing the initial investment and mitigating financial risks associated with the franchise.
