We began offering Body & Brain home-based franchises in February 2015. The Body & Brain home-based franchise is offered under a separate Disclosure Document. Body & Brain home-based franchisees do not operate from a dedicated retail location. Instead, they operate from a home-based office and focus on offering the physical aspects of Body & Brain holistic products and services at their clients' homes and business locations or utilize temporary space to offer classes. Home-based franchisees offer the same goods and services as Body & Brain Centers except Body & Brain home-based franchisees cannot offer special trainings that can be offered by Body & Brain Centers. As of the date of this Disclosure Document, we have sold a total of 26 Body & Brain home-based franchises.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, Body Brain Center started offering Body & Brain home-based franchises in February 2015. These home-based franchises differ from the standard Body & Brain Center franchises in that they do not operate from a dedicated retail location. Instead, franchisees operate from a home office, providing services at clients' homes, businesses, or temporary spaces. As of the date of the 2025 Disclosure Document, Body Brain Center has sold a total of 26 Body & Brain home-based franchises.
It is important to note that Body Brain Center is currently transitioning away from the home-based franchise model, as they believe the original Body & Brain Center franchise model is more beneficial for franchisees. While new Body & Brain Center franchises are still available, Body & Brain home-based franchises are now only available in states with existing home-based franchisees or to prospective franchisees who specifically wish to sign an agreement for, operate, renew, or transfer a Body & Brain home-based franchise.
Existing Body & Brain home-based franchisees have the option to convert to a Body & Brain Center franchise by meeting certain requirements and paying a conversion fee, as detailed in Item 5 of the FDD. However, the reverse is generally not allowed; Body & Brain Center franchisees cannot convert to a home-based franchise unless they had made a written offer to do so before June 1, 2017.
