What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company identifies its studios operating under the Body20 system through specific trademarks, service marks, trade names, signs, associated designs, artwork, and logos. These identifiers are collectively referred to as the "Marks." The primary mark is the BODY20® mark itself. These marks are listed in Appendix B of the Franchise Agreement. Body20 retains the right to designate additional trade names, service marks, and trademarks for franchisees to use, which would also be included under the umbrella term of "Marks."
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the visual identity of their studio is strictly controlled by Body20. Franchisees must use the designated marks in their business operations and marketing. The agreement allows Body20 to update or change these marks, so franchisees need to stay updated with any changes to remain compliant.
Appendix B, which contains the specific list of marks, is a crucial document for franchisees to review. It ensures they are aware of all approved branding elements. Understanding the approved marks is essential for adhering to Body20's brand standards and maintaining consistency across all franchise locations.
