Are there any restrictions on the retail customers that a Body20 franchisee may serve at their Studio?
Body20 Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We impose no restriction on the retail customers that you may serve at your Studio, but you may not make any sales of products or services outside of the Studio, conduct Sessions or programs outside of the Studio, or use vendor relationships that you establish through your association with us or the Brand for any other purpose besides the operation of the Studio, unless we consent in writing. You agree to purchase products solely for resale to retail customers, and not for resale or redistribution to any other party, including other franchisees in our network. You may not offer products or services in connection with the Marks on any website on the Internet or any other electronic communication network unless we consent in writing. Any media advertising or direct mail marketing that you conduct must be predominantly focused within your Territory, unless we agree otherwise. While there are no territorial restrictions from accepting business from customers that reside or work or are otherwise based outside of your Territory if these customers contact you, we reserve the right to implement rules and restrictions regarding soliciting such customers in the future in our Manuals or otherwise in writing.
You must ensure that all customers participating in Sessions register and reserve spaces through the Technology, make payments through the Technology System, and sign a waiver in a form that we prescribe or approve.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are generally no restrictions on the retail customers a franchisee may serve at their studio. However, the franchisee is restricted from making sales of products or services outside of the studio, conducting sessions or programs outside of the studio, or leveraging vendor relationships established through Body20 for purposes other than operating the studio, unless written consent is provided by Body20. Franchisees must purchase products solely for resale to retail customers and not for redistribution to any other party, including other franchisees.
While Body20 does not currently impose territorial restrictions on accepting business from customers residing or working outside of a franchisee's territory, they reserve the right to implement such rules and restrictions in the future via the manuals or other written communication. Franchisees must ensure that all customers participating in sessions register, reserve spaces, and make payments through the Body20 Technology system, and sign a prescribed waiver.
Furthermore, franchisees cannot offer products or services connected to the Body20 marks on any website or electronic communication network without written consent. Any advertising or direct mail marketing must primarily focus within the franchisee's territory, unless otherwise agreed upon. These stipulations ensure that the Body20 brand is protected and that franchisees operate within the established system standards.
