What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may have to pay for the initial training program. Initially, the franchise fee covers the cost of initial training for the Required Trainees, provided they all attend the same training session. However, this has been amended.
According to the amendment, franchisees must pay Body20 an initial training fee of $2,500 before the Required Trainees attend the initial training. This fee covers the initial training for the initial Required Trainees, assuming they attend the same session. If any representative, including an initial Required Trainee, attends a subsequent initial training session, Body20 may charge its then-current initial training fee, but it will not exceed $1,000 per trainee per day.
Furthermore, if Body20 provides any portion of the initial training at the franchisee's studio, they may charge an additional fee of up to $1,000 per trainer per day, along with covering their travel and living expenses. The franchisee acknowledges that Body20 is under no obligation to refund any training fee, either in whole or in part, for any reason.
