What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, state-required riders to the Development Agreement are included in Item 23 as follows:
Exhibit I to the Franchise Disclosure Document contains additional state-required disclosures and riders. These additional disclosures apply only if the state franchise registration and disclosure law applies to the franchisee. For example, there are specific riders to the Body20 Franchisor LLC Development Agreement for use in the states of New York and Illinois.
These riders are made between Body20 Franchisor LLC and the franchisee, and they are signed because the franchisee is domiciled in that state, the studios will be located in that state, or any of the offering or sales activity relating to the Development Agreement occurred in that state. These riders may include modifications to certain sections of the Development Agreement to ensure compliance with state laws.
