What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must display the Marks in a manner that Body20 specifies. This includes displaying the Marks on signage at the studio and on all written materials, forms, advertising, promotional materials, supplies, employee uniforms, business cards, receipts, letterhead, contracts, stationary, and other materials that Body20 designates. Franchisees must obtain prior written approval from Body20 before using any materials on which the Marks appear, and this approval can be revoked at any time with reasonable notice.

Body20 also restricts how franchisees can use the Marks. Franchisees cannot use any Mark as part of any corporate or legal business name, or with any prefix, suffix, or other modifying words, terms, designs, or symbols (other than logos Body20 has licensed). They also cannot use the Marks in selling any unauthorized services or products, as part of any domain name, electronic address, metatag, social media account, or otherwise in connection with any website or other electronic medium without Body20's consent. Any use of the Marks must be expressly authorized in writing by Body20.

These stipulations ensure that the Body20 brand is presented consistently across all franchise locations and marketing materials, protecting the brand's image and goodwill. For a prospective franchisee, this means adhering strictly to Body20's guidelines for displaying the Marks and obtaining approval for all marketing and promotional materials. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in penalties or termination of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should carefully review the operations manuals and any written communications from Body20 to stay informed about the current standards for Mark usage.
