What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase specific items from either Body20 or its affiliates, or from suppliers and service providers that Body20 has designated or approved. These mandatory purchases are divided into two categories: those required directly from Body20 or its affiliates, and those required from designated or approved third-party suppliers.
From Body20 or its affiliates, franchisees must purchase the Initial FF&E Package, the Presale Kit, the Initial Retail Inventory Kit, certain ongoing equipment purchases, and replacement inventory and sales materials and accessories. From designated or approved suppliers or service providers, franchisees must acquire certain other equipment and supplies, interior graphics and exterior signage, the Technology System, music licenses, and payment processing services.
Furthermore, Body20 maintains the right to designate itself or its affiliates as the approved or required suppliers for additional goods or services in the future, giving Body20 the flexibility to modify the list of required purchases. Before engaging project managers, architects, engineers, or designers for studio construction, franchisees must obtain Body20's prior written approval. This ensures that all aspects of the studio's development align with Body20's standards and specifications. These restrictions ensure brand consistency and quality control across all Body20 franchise locations.
