What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body20 retains the right to inspect a proposed supplier's facilities. Specifically, if a franchisee wants to use a supplier that Body20 has not already approved, the franchisee must submit a written request for approval and provide any information Body20 requests.
Body20 has the right to inspect the facilities of the proposed supplier and test samples of their products. Body20 can also require the supplier to visit their headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, for an in-person evaluation. The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of this evaluation, which will be the greater of $1,000 or Body20's actual costs, including personnel and travel expenses, regardless of whether the supplier is ultimately approved.
Body20 maintains the right to grant, deny, or revoke approval of any supplier based solely on their judgment. They will notify the franchisee in writing of their decision. If a franchisee does not receive approval within 30 days of submitting all required information, the request is considered disapproved. Body20 also reserves the right to reinspect the facilities and products of any approved supplier and to revoke approval if they no longer meet Body20's standards. If approval is revoked, the franchisee must cease using the supplier and dispose of any remaining inventory as directed by Body20.
