What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel and living expenses of their fitness coaches while they attend the Coach Onboarding program. This onboarding is a mandatory part of the training for fitness coaches at a Body20 studio. The Coach Onboarding currently consists of five days of in-person training at a designated studio, which may require travel, and 15 hours of online instruction.

In addition to covering travel and living expenses, the franchisee should also be aware of other potential costs associated with Coach Onboarding. Body20 charges a Coach Onboarding Fee of $125 for each fitness coach. The FDD also notes that some fitness coaches may need additional practice or instruction, which could cost up to an additional $1,000 per coach.

Furthermore, if a franchisee requests that the in-person portion of Coach Onboarding be conducted at their own studio, they will be required to pay Body20 an additional training fee of $1,000 per trainer per day, as well as reimburse Body20's trainers for their travel and living expenses. This could be a significant expense for franchisees, especially if they have multiple coaches to train or if they are located far from the training location.
