Body20 Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Prior to opening the Studio, you (or your Operating Principal, if you are an Entity) and your Designated Manager (collectively, "Required Trainees") must personally attend and satisfactorily complete our initial training program ("Initial Training"). We will provide Initial Training as soon as practicable after the execution and delivery of this Agreement at our offices, at any other location that we designate, and/or remotely via recorded media, teleconference, videoconference, the Internet, webinar, or any other means, as we determine. We will determine the length, timing, location, and substance of Initial Training in our sole discretion. We may waive a portion of Initial Training or alter the training schedule if we determine that your Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training or have previously been trained at one of our Studios. Each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend our Initial Training unless we otherwise agree in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Required Trainees' who must attend the initial training program are the franchisee (or the Operating Principal, if the franchisee is an entity) and the Designated Manager. Body20 requires these individuals to personally attend and satisfactorily complete the initial training program before opening the studio.

Body20 will provide the initial training program as soon as practical after the franchise agreement is executed. The training may be held at Body20's offices, another designated location, or remotely through various digital means such as recorded media, teleconference, videoconference, the Internet, or webinar. The specific length, timing, location, and content of the initial training are determined at Body20's discretion.

Body20 may waive a portion of the initial training or alter the schedule if the Required Trainees have sufficient prior experience or training, or if they have previously been trained at one of Body20's studios. Each subsequent Operating Principal and Designated Manager must attend the initial training unless Body20 agrees otherwise in writing. If the Required Trainees cannot successfully complete the initial training, they must repeat it or be replaced by other trainees who can complete the program. The initial training must be completed at least 30 days before the studio opens or by an earlier deadline specified by Body20.
