What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a key requirement for completing the Coach Onboarding program is the submission of a video demonstrating key instruction and coaching competencies. This video is reviewed by the Body20 team, and feedback is provided to the coach. A satisfactory evaluation of this video is mandatory for the coach to successfully complete the onboarding process.

The Coach Onboarding program is designed for individuals who will be providing fitness coaching at the Body20 studio. It consists of five days of in-person training at a designated studio and 15 hours of online instruction. The program includes instructional videos, online coursework, and a digital training manual. The $125 Coach Onboarding Fee does not cover potential additional practice, coaching, or follow-up instruction, which could cost up to an additional $1,000 per coach.

Franchisees are also responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for their fitness coaches while they attend the Coach Onboarding. If the franchisee requests that the in-person portion of the Coach Onboarding be conducted at their studio, they must pay an additional training fee of $1,000 per trainer per day and reimburse Body20 for the travel and living expenses of their trainers.

It is important to note that Coach Onboarding is not intended to compensate for any gaps in a candidate's foundational education or qualifications. If a fitness coach has already completed Coach Onboarding in connection with another Body20 studio within the prior two years, they are not required to attend the program at that time, but each coach is required to attend the then-current Coach Onboarding every two years.
