What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body20 encourages prospective franchisees to seek advice from professionals. Specifically, Body20 advises consulting with accounting, business, and legal advisors. This is to help potential franchisees prepare budgets and financial projections. These advisors can also assist in assessing the likely financial performance of the franchise.
In addition to professional advisors, Body20 also encourages prospective franchisees to contact existing Body20 franchisees. This outreach is intended to allow potential franchisees to learn about the experiences of current franchisees within the Body20 system. Body20 emphasizes that existing franchisees are a valuable source of information regarding franchise operations.
Body20 also notes that, beyond the financial performance representations made in Item 19 of the FDD, it does not make any other financial performance representations. Furthermore, Body20 does not authorize its employees or representatives to make such representations, either orally or in writing. If a prospective franchisee is considering purchasing an existing Body20 outlet, the franchisor may provide the actual records of that specific outlet. Body20 advises that if a potential franchisee receives any other financial performance information or projections, they should report it to Body20's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies.
