What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, information regarding training can be found on several pages. Page 5 discusses the importance of product and services knowledge. Page 8 mentions complete franchisee training. Pages 5 and 6 reference ethical standards and legal and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, the document outlines specific training programs for franchisees and their employees. Initial Training is required for the franchisee (or Operating Principal) and the Designated Manager. This training is provided as soon as practicable after the Franchise Agreement is executed. The franchisor determines the length, timing, location, and substance of the Initial Training. The FDD also mentions Coach Onboarding, a program for individuals providing fitness coaching at the studio.
Furthermore, Body20 may conduct periodic mandatory or optional training programs for franchisees and/or their employees. Franchisees are also required to ensure their employees comply with all applicable training and certification requirements, including fitness certification courses through accredited programs. These requirements may be imposed through the manuals or otherwise. The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with these additional training programs and certifications.
