What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, a fitness coach must attend and successfully complete the Coach Onboarding program before providing any fitness coaching at a Body20 studio. However, if a coach has completed the onboarding program at another Body20 studio within the prior two years, they are not required to attend it again at that time. Regardless, every coach is required to attend the then-current Coach Onboarding program every two years.
As of the Effective Date of the FDD, the Coach Onboarding program generally includes five days of in-person training and 15 hours of online instruction. Body20 determines the locations and times for the Coach Onboarding program.
The franchisee must pay Body20 a Coach Onboarding Fee for each fitness coach attending the program. Currently, this fee is $125 for each attending coach, with a potential additional charge of up to $1,000 per coach if Body20 determines supplemental training is required. Body20 may increase this fee periodically, but it will not exceed $500 per coach, plus up to $2,000 for any coach requiring supplemental training. This means franchisees need to budget for initial and ongoing training costs for their fitness coaches to ensure compliance with Body20's standards.
