What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any individual providing fitness coaching at a Body20 studio must attend and successfully complete the Coach Onboarding program before they can provide coaching services. However, a coach who has completed the onboarding program within the prior two years at another Body20 studio is not required to attend again at that time.
However, Body20 requires that each coach attend the then-current Coach Onboarding program every two years. As of the effective date of the FDD, the Coach Onboarding program generally includes five days of in-person training and 15 hours of online instruction. Body20 determines the locations and times for the Coach Onboarding program.
The franchisee must pay Body20 a Coach Onboarding Fee for each fitness coach attending the program. Currently, this fee is $125 per coach, but it can increase up to an additional $1,000 per coach if Body20 determines that supplemental training is required. Body20 may increase the Coach Onboarding Fee periodically, but it will not exceed $500 per coach, plus up to $2,000 for any coach requiring supplemental training.
