What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated travel and related expenses during the Initial Training cover two people attending the three-day training in Newport Beach, California. The franchisee is responsible for all travel, living expenses, wages, and other costs incurred by their trainees during this period. These costs can fluctuate based on the point of origin, travel method, accommodation class, and dining preferences.
Furthermore, if Body20 decides to conduct the Initial Training at the franchisee's studio, the franchisee must pay an additional training fee of up to $1,000 (currently $500) per trainer per day and cover the travel and living expenses for Body20's trainers. This scenario could significantly increase the overall Initial Training costs for the franchisee.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these potential expenses and factor them into their initial investment calculations. It's important to discuss with Body20 the likelihood of on-site training and to obtain a clear understanding of the number of required trainees to accurately estimate the total travel and related expenses.
