What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training for franchisees involves travel and related expenses for two people to attend a three-day training session in Newport Beach, California. The franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses, including travel, accommodation, wages, and other costs, for their trainees during this initial training period. The actual cost can vary significantly depending on the point of origin, travel method, accommodation class, and dining preferences.

Body20 may also elect to provide initial training at the franchisee's studio, in which case the franchisee must pay an additional training fee of up to $1,000 per trainer per day (currently $500), along with covering the travel and living expenses for the Body20 trainers. This alternative can potentially increase the overall initial training costs for the franchisee.

Furthermore, each fitness coach will spend five days at a Body20 studio for the in-person portion of Coach Onboarding and complete 15 hours of online instruction. If there is not another Body20 studio in the coach's market, the franchisee will be responsible for the traveling and living expenses of their fitness coaches while attending Coach Onboarding at an out-of-market studio.
