subject matter expertise, including our Director of Fitness, Sydney Maddox, will participate in portions of Initial Training. The Manuals, PowerPoints, and various training guides and materials serve as instructional materials.

Coach Onboarding. In addition to satisfying our eligibility criteria, as stated in our Manuals, each individual who will be providing fitness coaching at the Studio must attend and successfully complete Coach Onboarding before providing any fitness coaching at the Studio. (If a fitness coach has already completed Coach Onboarding in connection with another Studio within the prior two years, that coach is not required to attend the program at that time; however, each coach is required to attend the then-current Coach Onboarding every two years.) Coach Onboarding currently comprises five days of in-person training at a Studio that we designate (which may be outside of your market and require your coach candidates to travel) and 15 hours of online instruction. Coach Onboarding is not intended to compensate for any gap in a candidate's foundational education or qualifications, as stated in our Manuals. Coach Onboarding includes instructional videos, online coursework, and a digital training manual specifically developed for new coaches. To complete Coach Onboarding, each coach must submit a video demonstrating key instruction and coaching competencies. Our team will review the video and provide feedback. A satisfactory evaluation is required to complete the coach's onboarding process.

As stated above, we currently charge a Coach Onboarding Fee of $125 for each fitness coach attending Coach Onboarding. We anticipate that certain of your fitness coaches may require additional practice, coaching, or follow-up instruction, depending on comprehension and readiness, the estimated cost of which is up to an additional $1,000 per coach. You also are responsible for the travel and living expenses of your fitness coaches while attending Coach Onboarding. In additio

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the in-person portion of the Coach Onboarding program takes place at a Body20 studio that the franchisor designates. This studio may be outside of the franchisee's market, potentially requiring coach candidates to travel. The Coach Onboarding program consists of five days of in-person training and 15 hours of online instruction.

Body20 charges a Coach Onboarding Fee of $125 for each fitness coach attending the program. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel and living expenses of their fitness coaches while they attend the Coach Onboarding. If a franchisee requests that the in-person portion of the Coach Onboarding be conducted at their own studio, they must pay Body20 an additional training fee of $1,000 per trainer per day, as well as reimburse the travel and living expenses of Body20's trainers.

This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the onboarding fee but also for potential travel, accommodation, and additional training costs for their coaches. The option to host the training at the franchisee's studio comes with a significant cost, making it important to carefully weigh the benefits against the expenses. Franchisees should inquire about the typical location of the training and factor in potential travel costs when planning their budget.
