What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Retail Inventory Kit will be automatically shipped to you upon the purchase of your Initial FF&E Package. The Initial Retail Inventory Kit includes branded apparel and merchandise intended for promotional and early sales activities. You must pay Body20 $6,000 for this kit, plus shipping costs, which Body20 estimates will range from $0 to $3,000. This payment is nonrefundable.

The Initial FF&E Package includes furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other items (including baselayers). The FDD states that Body20 expects you will purchase the Initial FF&E Package from them but will finance it through a third-party vendor via a lease-to-own or equivalent financing arrangement. If financed, the pre-opening payments for the Initial FF&E Package are estimated to range from $8,485 to $24,656. If you choose to forego financing and instead purchase the Initial FF&E Package, the estimated cost will range from $95,218 to $114,158, which payment is nonrefundable.

Therefore, to receive the Initial Retail Inventory Kit, a prospective Body20 franchisee must first purchase the Initial FF&E Package. The kit will then be shipped automatically. The timing of the shipment is directly linked to when the franchisee finalizes the purchase or financing of the FF&E Package, which is required prior to opening the studio. This means franchisees should coordinate the FF&E Package purchase well in advance of their planned opening date to ensure timely receipt of the retail inventory.
