What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to use a supplier that Body20 hasn't already approved, Body20 has the right to inspect the supplier's facilities and test their products. Body20 may require the supplier to visit their headquarters, which is currently located in Chicago, Illinois, to evaluate the supplier in person.
This means that if a Body20 franchisee proposes a new supplier, that supplier might need to travel to Chicago for an in-person evaluation by Body20. The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with this evaluation.
Specifically, the franchisee agrees to pay Body20 a charge equal to the greater of $1,000 or Body20's actual costs and expenses (including personnel and travel costs) for the inspection, testing, and evaluation, regardless of whether Body20 ultimately approves the supplier.
