What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body20 does not provide any guarantee or warranty regarding the potential success or profitability of a studio, even after they accept the proposed site. While Body20 offers assistance and guidance during the site selection process, the final responsibility for choosing a suitable location rests solely with the franchisee.
Body20's site selection process involves the franchisee submitting a site proposal package with details about the proposed location. Body20 then reviews the site based on its own criteria, which may include evaluations from third-party software. They also consider factors like site visibility, zoning, parking, competition, neighboring tenants, accessibility, population density, and adjusted gross income. Body20 may also conduct on-site evaluations as deemed necessary.
Even though Body20 evaluates and accepts a site, this acceptance should not be interpreted as any assurance of future financial performance. The success of the Body20 studio will depend on many factors beyond just the location itself, including the franchisee's management skills, marketing efforts, and overall economic conditions. A prospective franchisee should carefully consider all these factors and conduct their own independent market research before making a final investment decision.
