What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is explicitly restricted from using the studio site for any purpose other than operating the Body20 studio. The franchise agreement stipulates that the franchisee must operate the studio in compliance with the Body20 system and manuals.

Specifically, the franchisee cannot lease, sublease, or assign the site lease without prior written consent from Body20. Furthermore, the franchisee is prohibited from offering or allowing others to offer sessions at the studio that are not part of the Body20 brand and are not provided by qualified and properly trained instructors.

This restriction extends to the sale of ancillary products or services. Body20 franchisees, their owners, and affiliates are barred from operating any retail location providing products or services ancillary to the studio's business, such as a juice or smoothie bar, from a location at or near the studio site. This ensures that the focus remains solely on the Body20 fitness training program and prevents any potential conflicts or brand dilution.
