What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to the company's policies and procedures regarding member reciprocity. This reciprocity extends to other Body20 studios, as well as studios operating under franchise systems connected to brands owned or licensed by Body20 or its affiliates.
This requirement means that a Body20 franchisee must honor membership agreements or arrangements that allow members from other affiliated studios to use their facilities. The specific terms and conditions of these reciprocity programs are dictated by Body20's policies and procedures, which the franchisee is obligated to follow.
By mandating adherence to member reciprocity policies, Body20 aims to create a consistent experience for members across different locations and brands within its network. This can enhance the value proposition for members, as they may have access to a wider range of studios and services. However, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to accommodate members from other locations, which could impact studio capacity and resource allocation. Franchisees should seek clarification from Body20 regarding the specifics of these policies and how they may affect their studio's operations and revenue.
