What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the territory, if any, will be specified by Body20 after the site has been selected. This specification will be communicated to the franchisee through written notice. The territory will be an area that Body20 specifies surrounding the selected site.
Schedule 1 to Appendix A of the Franchise Agreement includes franchisee-specific terms to be completed after site selection and acceptance. This schedule includes sections for both the site and the territory. Once the site is accepted by Body20 Franchisor LLC, they will define the territory in writing to the franchisee.
This means that a prospective Body20 franchisee will not know the exact territory they will be operating in until after they have selected a site and Body20 has approved it. This is a crucial consideration, as the size and demographics of the territory will significantly impact the potential success and revenue of the franchise. Franchisees should carefully evaluate the site selection process and understand how Body20 determines the territory boundaries.
