What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise term begins on the effective date of the Franchise Agreement. The standard term continues for 10 years from the date the franchisee opens their Body20 studio for business.
If a franchisee continues to operate the Body20 studio after the initial term expires, the agreement may be treated as extended on a month-to-month basis. This extension continues until either Body20 or the franchisee provides notice to end the extension.
The interim period will then terminate 30 days after the other party receives the termination notice. This arrangement provides some flexibility but also carries the risk of a short notice period for termination after the initial term.
