    1. Development Fee. Upon signing the Development Agreement, you must pay us the Development Fee. The Development Fee varies based on the number of Studios you commit to develop. The low estimate is based on a commitment to develop three Studios (in which case the Franchise Fee under each Franchise Agreement would be $55,000 per studio) and the high estimate is based on a commitment to develop 10 Studios (in which case the Franchise Fee under each Franchise Agreement would be $35,000 per studio). The Development Fee will be credited towards the initial Franchise Fee for each Studio developed under the Development Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise fee is paid to Body20. The standard franchise fee for a single unit Body20 franchise is $65,000. This fee is due when the Franchise Agreement is signed and is typically paid as a lump sum.

Notably, if a prospective franchisee enters into a Development Agreement to open multiple Body20 studios, the franchise fee structure changes. The Development Fee paid upon signing the Development Agreement varies depending on the number of studios the franchisee commits to develop. For instance, if the commitment is to develop three studios, the franchise fee is $55,000 per studio. If the commitment is to develop ten studios, the franchise fee is $35,000 per studio.

The Development Fee is credited towards the initial franchise fee for each studio developed under the Development Agreement. It is important to note that all fees and payments, including the franchise fee, are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise by Body20.
