What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body20 Franchise Disclosure Document, the compliance questionnaire includes a question about whether the applicant obtained advice from anyone other than Body20 representatives in selecting their site. Specifically, question 24 on the questionnaire asks, "Did you obtain advice from anyone other than our representatives in selecting your site?" The applicant can answer "Yes" or "No".
If the applicant answers "Yes", they are prompted to provide the name of the advisor. If the applicant answers "No", they are asked if they wish to have more time to do so. This suggests Body20 wants to ensure franchisees make informed decisions with or without outside consultation.
It is important to note that this questionnaire is not applicable to franchise applicants in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. Franchisees in those states will not be required to complete this questionnaire.
