When does the Body20 fiscal year end?
Body20 Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Our fiscal year ends on December 31 of each year. As we acquired the BODY20® franchise system in April 2025, Predecessor was the franchisor for fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024. During that period, Predecessor's owners held a minority ownership interest in one Studio, which was operated in Texas under the terms of a franchise agreement with Predecessor. That Texas Studio has been categorized as an "Affiliate-Owned Studio" in this Item 20.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company's fiscal year concludes on December 31st of each year. This is a standard practice for many businesses, as it aligns with the calendar year, simplifying financial reporting and tax preparation.
For a prospective Body20 franchisee, understanding the fiscal year is important for several reasons. It sets the timeline for financial reporting, performance reviews, and potentially for calculating royalties or other payments to the franchisor. The franchisee's accounting practices will need to align with this fiscal year-end date.
Furthermore, the FDD notes that the current franchisor acquired the Body20 franchise system in April 2025. For the fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024, the predecessor was the franchisor. This detail is relevant because the financial performance and studio data from those years reflect the predecessor's operations, which may differ from the current franchisor's strategies and results.
