How does an extension granted to a Body20 franchisee impact other deadlines under the Development Schedule?
Body20 Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Any extension that we grant you (or your Affiliated Entity) will apply only to the Studios for which you (or your Affiliated Entity) obtained the extension and will not extend, delay, or otherwise impact any other deadline under the Development Schedule.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any extension granted to a franchisee for a specific studio does not affect the deadlines for other studios outlined in the Development Schedule. This means that if a Body20 franchisee receives an extension for either the Signing Deadline or the Opening Deadline for one studio, the timelines for signing agreements and opening other studios within their Development Area remain unchanged and must still be met.
This policy ensures that the overall development plan progresses according to the original schedule, preventing delays in one area from impacting the entire development project. It allows Body20 to maintain its growth trajectory and ensures that franchisees are held accountable for meeting their commitments for each studio, regardless of any extensions granted for specific locations.
For a prospective Body20 franchisee, this means that requesting and receiving an extension for a particular studio provides temporary relief for that specific project but does not alleviate the responsibility of adhering to the original Development Schedule for other studios. Franchisees need to manage their resources and timelines effectively to ensure they can meet all other deadlines, even if one studio faces delays. This also highlights the importance of carefully assessing the feasibility of meeting the Development Schedule before signing the agreement, as extensions may not always be granted and only apply to specific locations, not the entire development plan.
