What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must keep their studios open to the public during the hours prescribed in the manuals or otherwise approved by Body20. However, there are exceptions to this requirement.
The document states that franchisees are not required to adhere to the prescribed operating hours if doing so is prohibited by Applicable Laws or by the Site Lease for the studio premises. This means that if local laws or the terms of the lease agreement for the studio's location prevent the franchisee from keeping the studio open during the hours specified by Body20, they are not obligated to do so.
This exception is important for prospective franchisees to consider, as it acknowledges that external factors beyond their control may impact their ability to maintain the standard operating hours. Franchisees should carefully review local laws and lease agreements to understand any potential restrictions on operating hours before signing the franchise agreement.
