What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body20 franchisees must ensure that their studio employees comply with all applicable training and certification requirements. These requirements are communicated through the manuals or other means and may include completing a fitness certification course through an accredited program that is nationally or internationally recognized. The franchisee is responsible for the cost of these certifications.
Examples of such nationally or internationally recognized programs that Body20 may require include the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, or the International Sports Sciences Association. Body20 may also provide these certifications through their online training university.
Additionally, Body20 may require or recommend training from approved third-party equipment suppliers. It is important for prospective franchisees to budget for these potential training and certification costs and to stay informed about any updates to these requirements, as they can change over time.
