What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body20 will establish reasonable deadlines for franchisees to implement any changes to the Technology System requirements. The Technology System includes the point-of-sale system, the customer relationship management system, the online reservation system, and other technology systems that Body20 designates. Franchisees are responsible for acquiring, maintaining, and using the hardware, software, other equipment, and network connections specified in the manuals to operate the Technology System.

Franchisees must use the Technology System to enter and track purchase orders and receipts, attendance, and customer information; update inventory; enter and manage customers' contact information; generate sales reports and analysis relating to the Studio; and provide other services relating to the operation of the Studio. If Body20 requires franchisees to use proprietary software or purchase software from a designated vendor, franchisees must execute and pay any fees associated with software license agreements or related software maintenance agreements.

Body20 can require franchisees to replace, upgrade, or update the Technology System at the franchisee's expense. Franchisees must ensure their employees are adequately trained in using the Technology System and related policies and procedures. They must also comply with all laws and payment card provider standards relating to the security of the Technology System, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
