What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase an Initial Retail Inventory Kit before opening their studio. The cost for this kit is $6,000, in addition to shipping costs that Body20 estimates will range from $0 to $3,000. The Initial Retail Inventory Kit Payment covers the cost of the branded apparel and promotional merchandise included in the kit. The kit is shipped automatically upon purchase of the Initial FF&E Package.

It is important to note that the Initial Retail Inventory Kit Payment is nonrefundable. This means that once the payment is made, a franchisee cannot get their money back, even if they decide not to open the Body20 studio or if the Franchise Agreement is terminated. This nonrefundable policy is a standard practice in franchising, as the franchisor incurs costs in preparing and providing the kit.

Prospective Body20 franchisees should carefully consider the cost of the Initial Retail Inventory Kit and the nonrefundable nature of the payment when evaluating the franchise opportunity. It is advisable to review the contents of the kit to ensure that it meets their expectations and needs for launching their Body20 studio. Understanding the terms and conditions associated with this initial investment is crucial for making an informed decision.
