What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Initial Training can occur at several locations. Specifically, Body20 may conduct this training at their offices, any other location they designate, or remotely. Remote training can be facilitated through recorded media, teleconference, videoconference, the internet, webinar, or any other means they determine.

For prospective Body20 franchisees, this means that the initial training location may vary. It could involve traveling to Body20's headquarters or another designated site, or completing the training from a distance. The FDD also mentions that the in-person portion of Coach Onboarding may occur at a studio that Body20 designates, potentially outside of the franchisee's market, requiring travel for coach candidates.

The flexibility in training locations offers convenience but also introduces potential costs. While Body20 covers the costs for facilities and instructors during the initial training session, franchisees are responsible for travel and living expenses for their trainees. Additionally, if Body20 elects to provide Initial Training at the franchisee's studio, the franchisee must pay a training fee of up to $1,000 (currently, $500) per trainer per day. Franchisees should clarify with Body20 the expected location and format of the initial training to budget accordingly.
