According to Body20's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Technology System used in the operation of a Body20 studio typically includes several hardware and software components. These include a desktop computer, a laptop computer, two tablets, a printer, TV display components, a scanner, a credit card reader, and related accessories. The system also requires a point-of-sale (POS) system, which Body20 franchisees must use to manage transactions and customer data. All components must be connected to the Internet via a high-speed connection.
Body20 franchisees are responsible for maintaining the Technology System in good working order and ensuring their employees are adequately trained in its use. They must also provide Body20 with unrestricted access to the system at all times, including user IDs and passwords if necessary, so that Body20 can independently download and transfer data. Franchisees are prohibited from loading any unauthorized programs or games on any hardware included in the Technology System and must comply with all laws and payment card provider standards related to its security.
The estimated cost for the Technology System ranges from $3,800 to $7,500, encompassing the hardware, software licenses, related equipment, and network connections, including installation costs. Franchisees are required to purchase all components of the Technology System from Body20's approved vendors. Additionally, franchisees must pay a Technology Fee of $1,060 per month to Body20 for technology-related services, starting three months before the studio opens, and a license fee of $599 per month to MindBody, the approved POS system vendor.
