- 11.3. Authorized Goods & Services. You must offer and provide all Bigfoot Forestry Services we require from time to time in our commercially reasonable discretion. We may designate certain Bigfoot Forestry Services as optional, in which case you have the option, but not the obligation, to offer such services. As a condition to offering optional goods or services you may be required to complete additional training, purchase additional equipment and tools and secure additional licenses or permits. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must offer all Bigfoot Forestry Services that the company requires. These services are professional land management services to residential and commercial property owners, including forestry mulching and related services. Related services may include land clearing, stump grinding, geological test trail clearing, demolition, snow removal (in certain parts of the country) and other services that Bigfoot Forestry designates or approves from time to time. These authorized services are referred to as "Bigfoot Forestry Services".
Bigfoot Forestry may designate certain services as optional, giving the franchisee the choice to offer them. However, offering optional services may require additional training, equipment purchases, and securing necessary licenses or permits. Franchisees cannot offer any goods or services without prior written permission from Bigfoot Forestry, nor can they sell any goods or services that Bigfoot Forestry has disapproved.
Bigfoot Forestry retains the right to change the authorized goods and services at any time, and franchisees must comply with these changes. Franchisees are restricted from using their business for purposes other than offering authorized goods and services. This ensures that all Bigfoot Forestry Businesses maintain a consistent brand and service offering, as outlined in the Brand Standards Manual.
