Initial Franchise Fee
You pay us a nonrefundable $49,900 initial franchise fee at the time you sign the Franchise Agreement. Under our veteran's discount program, qualified veterans receive a $2,500 discount on the initial franchise fee. To qualify, a person holding at least a 51% interest in the franchise must be an honorably discharged veteran of any branch of the United States military and provide a Form DD-214. The veteran's discount may only be used once and only applies to the 1st franchise purchased. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard initial franchise fee is $49,900. This fee is nonrefundable and must be paid when signing the Franchise Agreement. However, the FDD notes a couple of exceptions to this standard fee.
For qualified veterans, Bigfoot Forestry offers a $2,500 discount on the initial franchise fee, reducing it to $47,400. The FDD anticipates that most area developers will purchase the right to develop between 3 and 5 Bigfoot Forestry Businesses, resulting in development fees ranging from $134,700 to $214,500.
