What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry FDD, the Managing Owner of the franchise must successfully complete all training programs that Bigfoot Forestry requires. Additionally, if the franchisee hires a Project Manager, that Project Manager must also successfully complete initial training.
Furthermore, if there is a transfer of the franchise to a new owner, the new transferee's owners must successfully complete, or make arrangements to attend, the initial training program. This ensures that anyone in a management position or taking over the franchise has the knowledge and skills to operate the Bigfoot Forestry business according to the franchisor's standards.
Prior to opening the Bigfoot Forestry business, the Managing Owner and Project Manager (if applicable) must successfully complete initial training. The franchisor will not issue authorization to open the business until this training is completed.
