What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must sign a separate Franchise Agreement for each Bigfoot Forestry Business they intend to operate. The franchisee must sign an Initial Franchise Agreement when they sign the Development Agreement for their first Bigfoot Forestry Business.
Each subsequent Franchise Agreement will be based on Bigfoot Forestry's then-current form, which may have terms that differ significantly from the Initial Franchise Agreement. However, the initial franchise fee for each Franchise Agreement will be determined according to the Development Agreement.
This requirement ensures that each Bigfoot Forestry Business operates under a specific agreement tailored to the territory and current franchise terms. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the terms of the initial and subsequent Franchise Agreements, as these terms may change over time and could impact their business operations and financial obligations.
