What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are provided with a certain number of email addresses at no additional charge. However, if a franchisee requires additional email addresses, Bigfoot Forestry may charge a fee for each additional email address requested. This fee is then added to the overall technology fee.
The technology fee covers all costs associated with technology systems, including proprietary items and amounts remitted to third-party technology suppliers. This fee is subject to change based on modifications to the technology systems or price adjustments made by third-party suppliers with whom Bigfoot Forestry has master agreements.
In essence, the email address fee is a component of the broader technology fee. Therefore, franchisees should consider potential costs for additional email addresses when budgeting for technology-related expenses. It is important to note that Bigfoot Forestry maintains ownership of the email addresses and accounts, granting franchisees the right to use them only during the term of the franchise agreement.
